Once again, Joan managed to get a "house-sitting" gig for this SUPER CUTE little cabin in Mt. Hood, so (of course) we had to check it out!

We got an eight week old Blue Nose American Pit Bull, and named her Violet.

Two weeks in New Orleans again this year, and the only pictures I took were during hang-out time.
This year we scored a beautiful two-story house right off the St. Charles trolly line.

Our first Mount Hood hike!

The Salmon River Trail with Joan, Nick and Collin.

After the hike, we decided to do a little last minute rock climbing...not a great idea.

I chickened out about half-way up (when the rocksand dirt were just falling from under my feet), slid down and got some pictures of the boys coming back down.

Nick took a pretty bad spill at the top and rolled down for a minute til he caught a tree.

Can't wait to go again! haha
